Palms
The Palms Casino Resort offers its guests some of the city's most spectacular
views of the Las Vegas Strip, unique rooms, memorable nightlife venues and a bevy
of dining options.
From ghostbar on the 55th floor to Rain Las Vegas just off the casino, the Palms
is the hotel for the MTV generation. So much so that the 12th season of MTV's "The Real World"
was shot at the resort, and now hotel guests can stay in the 2,900-square-foot
suite created for the show's cast.
The Ghostbar
The ride lasts only seconds, but seems like an eternity, the suspense builds
and the doors open. What you see is a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip
from 55 floors above, a site unfathomable to ghostbar virgins. As the view draws
you in, the music of the live DJ fills the background. From the “ghostdeck”, yet
another view takes your breath away, one from a see-thru acrylic floor looking
directly at the Skin Pool Lounge below. The room, simple, yet eclectic, allows
the beautiful patrons to be the focal point.
Skin
Skin at the Palms is a sensual 75,000 square foot poolside lounge. The lavender-shaded
pool is surrounded by private cabanas with TVs and hammocks. Skin Las Vegas is
very unique, at night the area transforms into an outdoor nightclub complete with
a concert stage, an elevated dance floor, and breathtaking light and fog.
Rain
A 40' wall of water backs the stage, fountains surround the dance floor, and
a fire-breathing lighting system hovers over the dance floor. VIP skyboxes, cabana
areas, and water booths with patent leather water-filled seats spiral upward from
the floor. Quite simply Sin City's most popular party.
