Mandalay Bay
This resort is a bustling, tropical paradise, accented by fountains, sculpture,
marble and flora. Surrounding it on all sides is dining at its finest, from proletariat
bar Red Square (It has a headless statue of Lenin!) to the futuristic China Grill to the elegant Fleur de Lys. The nightclub rumjungle boasts go-go girls and a wall of fire, and the Mandalay Bay Theatre hosts the
Broadway smash Mamma Mia!. The House of Blues books everyone from Bob Dylan to Anthrax and holds a Sunday
Gospel Brunch, an events center features sports events and arena-sized musical acts and the
$40 million attraction Shark Reef houses 100 species of animals.
rumjungle
An innovative night spot, rumjungle lights up the night with music, excitement
and exotic drinks. After the dinner hour, rumjungle gets positively primal, becoming
one of Las Vegas' hottest nightclubs.
Forty Duece
This back-alley striptease lounge has redefined burlesque and put it back on
the map. Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce features a low bar, plush lounge chairs, intimate
seating and cocktail tables with small seductive lamps creating a sexy, smokey
vibe. Hand picked dancers from around the world, personally selected by Ivan
Kane himself and his muse, Champagne Suzy, perform their unparalleled numbers,
sans nudity, at this groundbreaking night spot several times a night. Accompanying
each of the ladies is a live three piece bump and grind combo; stand-up bass,
drum kit, and wailing sax. Following each performance, a DJ keeps the crowd on
it's feet after each standing ovation.
Mix
Mix Lounge, located on the 64th floor atop THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, offers guests
stunning 360-degree views of the Strip and the Vegas valley from its floor-to-ceiling
windows.
The view is so great that the builders made sure it could seen from everywhere
in the club -- even from the restrooms, which are some of the most unusual in
town. Individual stalls have their own floor-to-ceiling windows as well.
The intimate 298-capacity lounge features wall-to-wall black leather décor with
red lighting. The place to be, however, is outside on the balcony. Low lounges
and tables allow guests to sit back, relax and take in an amazing view of the
Strip. You'll actually be looking down at the Luxor light next door.
OBA Lounge
OBA is a plush VIP lounge located on the third floor of the House of Blues in
Mandalay Bay. OBA offers VIP booth seating overlooking the music hall, bottle
service and private elevator access.
The lounge features a rotating lineup of DJs and is one of the hottest after-hours
spots on weekends and Mondays.
